Ce mercredi 29 Avril 2026, s’est tenu à Diamniadio à la salle de conférence du MPEM un atelier de « validation du rapport provisoire de l’étude de caractérisation de la pêche dans les plans d’eau de Dalaba (région de Kédougou), de Bona (région de Sedhiou), du Sofaniama et du bassin d’Anambe/kayanga (région de Kolda)».

L’atelier était organisé dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre du Projet de Gestion des Ressources Naturelles au Sénégal (SENRM) du Ministère des Pêches et de l’Economie maritime et présidé ainsi  par le Secrétaire Général du Ministère des Pêches et de l’Economie maritime, Monsieur Mouhamadou Abibou DIAGNE,

L’objectif de l’atelier était de permettre la participation, l’implication et la contribution de toutes les parties prenantes au processus de validation, de recueillir et de prendre en compte leurs préoccupations.

Cet atelier a permis donc au consultant de partager le rapport qui sera discuté et amélioré grâce aux contributions de toutes les parties prenantes notamment avec les acteurs clés des régions concernées afin de disposer d’un rapport final qui répondra aux attentes des bénéficiaires et du Projet SENRM.

JOURNEE DE LA PECHE CONTINENTALE

Dans le cadre de la Foire Internationale de l’Agriculture et des Ressources Animales (FIARA), le Ministère des Pêches et de l’Economie maritime (MPEM) a organisé une journée dédiée à la Direction de la Pêche Continentale, le vendredi 17 avril 2026, au sein de son stand.

La rencontre s’est tenue sous la présidence du Chef de division de l’aménagement, M. Sanounou SADIO. Elle avait pour objectif principal de faire connaître au grand public les missions, les projets mis en œuvre par la Direction ainsi que les perspectives dans les domaines de la gestion et de la valorisation des ressources. . Au cours de cette journée, plusieurs échanges ont eu lieu avec les visiteurs, les acteurs et le public sur les enjeux de la pêche continentale au Sénégal. Un moment fort a été la présentation de M. Ndiol Babacar NDIAYE, chef de la Division de la Valorisation des Produits de la Pêche artisanale.

La journée a ainsi permis de renforcer la visibilité de la DPC et de sensibiliser les différents publics aux bonnes pratiques pour une pêche responsable et durable au Sénégal.
